According to the Financial Times, Some vending machines in Shanghai subway stations now support digital RMB for ticket purchase, which can be successfully paid through digital RMB wallet.

Insiders of relevant banks said that digital RMB is currently in the promotion stage in Shanghai. Some merchants have opened digital currency collection function or digital currency wallet to facilitate transactions.
