Yemu Xu, co-founder of APRA shared his opinion about blockchain and data security in 2020 CES Talk to China Stage hosted by TMTPOST and ChainDD.

He said that data is a kind of asset like oil and gold, and in order to give it value, we have to make it liquid and use it. But with the limitation fo the technology, there's no such way that people can share data in a secure manner without having other people see the data.

Right now data sharing is relied on 3rd party, but the 3rd party can be replaced by using blockchain technology. Encrypted data with cryptography, two parties who sharing data can obtain the data through multiple calculations. During the whole process, other people cannot see or touch the data itself.
